Delicious, easy, and quick! How to make delicious caramel-filled brownies with a box of chocolate cake mix and Original Caramel Creams®.
ingredients
- 14 oz bag Caramel Creams
- 12 fl oz can evaporated milk
- 18.25 oz package chocolate cake mix
- 6 tbsp butter, melted
- 2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 lbs whole pecans (optional)
instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9×13 inch pan.
- Unwrap Caramel Creams and place in saucepan with 2 tablespoons of evaporated milk. Melt over medium to low heat, stirring constantly.
- In a bowl combine the remaining evaporated milk, dry cake mix, and melted butter. Stir until well blended.
- In the prepared pan, spread 1/2 of the brownie mixture evenly over the bottom of the pan. Bake for 5 minutes.
- Remove brownies from oven and cover the first layer of brownies with the caramel, followed by the last of the brownie mix.
- Bake for another 10 minutes.
- Cool before serving.
