A delicious dipping sauce that has a sweet and spicy taste. Perfect for dipping chips, crackers, and vegetables!​
The Caramel Creams Apple Habanero BBQ Sauce will be your new favorite dipping sauce!

ingredients

  • 3 ½ cups apple juice
  • 4 habaneros
  • 1 large yellow onion
  • 1/2 ketchup
  • 1 tbs Worcestershire
  • 6 unwrapped Caramel Creams

instructions

  • Cut the onion into quarters and place on a sheet pan with habanero peppers directly under the broiler for approximately 1-2 minutes per side or until charred.
  • Add apple juice, garlic, charred onion and habaneros into a saucepan and simmer for 25-30 minutes.
  • Allow to cool for a few minutes and then add to a blender (or food processor). You can remove habaneros to reduce the level of spiciness.
  • Once blended, place in a saucepan on medium-low heat. Add ketchup, Worcestershire, and unwrapped Caramel Creams until they have fully melted. Immediately use the sauce or store in refrigerator for later.
