Have fun with candy melts for Halloween! Dip Caramel Creams® into white melts, and add candy eyes to create these spooky party treats!
ingredients
- 20 of your favorite flavor of Caramel Creams®
- 1 bag of white candy melts
- 1 pack of candy eyeballs
supplies
- 1 slow cooker (crock pot)
- 1 8oz mason jar
- 1 pastry bag or heavy-duty plastic bag
instructions
- Unwrap your caramel candies and set aside. Tape about 1 foot of parchment paper to the counter. Fill the 8oz mason jar with the white candy melts.
- Place the mason jar in the slow cooker and fill it with water until the water covers about 2/3 of the jar.
- Turn the slow cooker on high. Stir the the candies as they soften.
- Once the candies have melted, dip your caramels into the melts and place them on the parchment paper.
- Place two eyeballs on each caramel. Scoop the remainder of melted candy into a pastry bag fitted with a round tip, or into a heavy-duty plastic bag. If you use a plastic bag, cut off the very tip of a bottom corner of the bag to create a hole.
- Drizzle the candy melts over each caramel, covering the edges of the eyes. Allow the candy to cool and harden before serving or wrapping.
